Problem
As Dolce Brooklyn grew, managing deliveries in-house became chaotic—orders came from multiple channels, invoicing was manual, and cooler returns drove up costs. One van and one driver weren’t enough.
Solution
Dolce Brooklyn streamlined deliveries using reliable drivers and photo proof of drop-off. Now they’re automating orders and invoicing to save time, cut mistakes, and scale smoothly.

About Dolce Brooklyn
“We started Dolce Brooklyn with one goal: to bring authentic, handcrafted gelato to New York, with flavors that actually remind you of Europe. We’re French, making Italian gelato in Brooklyn. Every batch is made with care, and we don’t cut corners. When someone tells me our fior di latte reminds them of a trip to Italy, I know we’re doing something right. It’s not just dessert, it’s our way of sharing a little piece of home.”
How everything started
Q: How did the business begin?
Pierre Monroy: “It started small. We were just two people making gelato out of a shared kitchen and selling at a few pop-ups. From day one, we focused on quality, not quantity.
Q: What do you think made Dolce Brooklyn successful as a business?
Pierre Monroy: “I think what made us successful is our authenticity. We don’t try to Americanize the flavors. We just do what we know best: classic, clean gelato done right.”
Q: When was your proudest moment?
Pierre Monroy: “The proudest moment? Opening our first storefront. Seeing our name on the window and customers lining up for our gelato, that was unforgettable.”
